At times my job can be very frustrating. Frustrating because I see the same health issues day after day – issues that if our GPs were trained to identify the root cause of symptoms, instead of treating symptoms, these should be resolved at a very early stage in the child’s life.
Instead the over use of antibiotics and the failure to identify simply nutrient deficiencies is causing many children to struggle with their health from a very early age and when puberty kicks in, they are now susceptible to acne making their teenage and adult life difficult too.
This is not a criticism of our GPs but instead of the failures of the medical world to train our GPs how to identify common deficiencies.
These are the most common health issues that my patients have suffered during childhood:
- Tantrums/ anxiety
- Social Isolation – difficulty in making friends
- Inability to concentrate at school
- Difficulty in getting to sleep
- Fussy eater
- Dry eyes
- Sensitive hearing
- Constant throat and ear infections
- Constant tummy aches
The positive news for parents is that with a little investigative work they can uncover the necessary information required to resolve these health issues for their own children. We can sit back and put the blame on GPs all day long but the reality is that we can all learn how the human body works and what it needs to function – its easier than you may think!
At my clinic I offer hair analysis testing for children and provide parents with the necessary information to allow them to learn what their little people need to make them healthy. Its not just about diet as the children who suffer from the above symptoms absorb very little nutrients from their food because of their health issues.
If you wish to take the step to help your child – please feel free to get in touch. My clinic is about avoiding acne as well as treating it.
